The Élisabeth Bruyère Research Institute is made up of the former University of Ottawa Institute of Palliative Care, University of Ottawa Institute on Health of the Elderly associated with the SCO Health Service (now Bruyère Continuing Care) and C.T. Lamont Centre for Studies in Primary Care of the Elderly.
The Institute has as its goal "Blending Compassion with Knowledge".
